Mackenzie Douthit and Josh McKee have been on cloud 9 since the birth of their daughter Jaxie Taylor McKee just one week ago. That is, until this weekend they were at the rodeo, and burglars “cleaned them out”.
Radar Online exclusively reported this on Sunday, and a source told them, “Mackenzie and Josh Mckee were at the rodeo when these people broke in and stole SO MUCH of their stuff. They got everything, including all of the new baby’s clothes, and a swing and high chair. They took Christmas presents that they’d received and even some of Josh’s hunting gear.”
Josh actually works at the rodeo in Kellyville, Oklahoma which is two hours away from their home, so they were gone most of the day. Mackenzie and Josh had most of their belongings packed up in boxes, because of a move coming up. This actually made it easier for the burglars to carry stuff out of the home.
Mackenzie took to twitter, and spoke out to fans about the robbery, “I’m shocked, heart broken & creeped out by what happened. But through thick & thin my family will stick together & make it through anything.” Angie, Mackenzie’s mother, let fans know “We called the sheriff and filed a report. We r trying to move the rest of their things into storage so the robbers won’t come back. UGH!”.
Even though it may be a long shot, hopefully police are able to locate the robbers, and recover some of their belongings. Good luck you guys!
